What can I say! If you like burgers BIG burgers this is the place. I believe they're all 1/2lb so if you get a double burger just know it's huge. Split a fry. Those portions are large as well. Wings were also good. They also have like 7 beers on tap and looked to be a full bar. They have a bunch of sandwiches and chicken sandwiches as well. Check it out!

Love their sandwiches + fries! Great beers, good neighborhood spot with great food and easy, low-key atmosphere. I don't love the chicken wings (too bready to me) but the sandwiches are so good.

Cold beer, delicious burgers, fat wings and chicken bites that are bomb as hell. Only problem I had was they only give you one flavor choice for order of 10 wings. I asked if I could get 5 and 5 of two different flavors but got a big no as an answer- didn't like that. Also charge you extra if you change green onions for grilled ones. Nice big TVs to watch games while grubbing out though.

I was reviewing a spot and I think I wrote a review of another spot similar in name sorry We went here after searching for a good Philly cheese sandwich and this place popped up. Along with Filipino dishes however only in Tuesday do they serve Filipino food. Which was sad but makes us have to come out again on a Tuesday. Good service, good food and tasty sandwich they have wings too which we have to try also.

Really enjoyed this spot! Came here for some drinks and food. They have tvs and were playing the Lakers game which was nice. This place is great for groups! We got some beers and a cocktail. Sadly, they dont have a cocktail menu but they do have a really good bartender! He asked what kind and of drinks I liked and I said sweet/sour tequila and he made someone sooo delicious!! Food- we ordered the garlic parmesan wings and the Sunday Morning burger which were both cooked to perfection! The burger was extremely juicy and they cooked it medium rare, just how I like it. I cant wait to come back!

My classmates were telling me about this place and wanted to give this place a try. We came here on a Saturday right after class and it was very hot outside and we were starving!! When we got there we were greeted right away and we could sit wherever we like. We decided to sit at the bar since we were going to get our drink on! One of my classmates said last time she ordered the chicken bites and they were spicy afff!! Which I had to give it a shot since I love spicy food and always up for a challenge! I'm Latina so of course I had to order me a round and see what the hype is about! While we waited I ordered myself a hometown lemonade with tequila instead of vodka. One of my classmates got the same thing but with Henny instead of vodka which made her drink come out to a light brown color. Then our food came and I took a bit out of the chicken bites and ohhhh mannnn that shi*t was spicy afffff but so damn good at the same time!!! I love Spicy food and this shit hit the spot but it was too damn spicy. My bf is a spice head too but loves his food way more spicier than I do so he would love this!! Since this is in Oakland I definitely have to bring him by since it's not to far. My drink was really good where I ordered myself another one! I ordered myself a couple shots to of tequila and man I was sooo turned lol. Definitely would love to come back and order some food and some drinks!!

Hometown Heroes East Bay is a really cute and chill place to grab some food or even just drinks. They have a pretty large menu of food and lots of craft cocktails, wine and beer to choose from. We stopped in here a couple of weekends ago and had a great experience! It was not too busy when we stopped in so we were able to quickly order our food and drinks. We tried the hottie totties, firefighter karaage chicken sandwich and a couple craft cocktails. The firefighter was so spicy and so delicious. The hottie totties weren't as spicy but they were still so good. I'd definitely recommend stopping by for food and drinks. They have a couple TVs inside as well to watch the games!

Been wanting to explore Emeryville for awhile and I'm glad I stumbled upon this place from other Yelp reviews! Let me tell you the highlight of this meal was definitely "The Hidden" wagyu burger. If you like your burgers meaty, juicy and flavorful, this is it! Plus it's 1/2 Wagyu patty!! I've paid WAY more for something like this before. I will say it does have a kick though due to the chili in it but overall it pairs nice with the sweetness and savory it offers. Definitely couldn't finish it all and had some leftovers for later. Onion rings were solid, but was surprised to see its $1 for a side of ranch. Interior looked very cool, reppin the Bay Area vibes and a good amount of people were here on a Thursday night. Staff was also helpful, and I was pleased that our food came out on time for a to-go order. Only thing is I would look on their website for current menu items as well as an increase in their actual prices on some items. Overall cool little spot on the corner in the city. Definitely want to come back and try their drinks as well as some Filipino apps.

So I've been here a couple of times before shut down and recently came back after. Their kitchen has changed from serving Filipino dishes to The Hidden Spot. Everything is about the same except they have more TVs than I remember. A great place to catch a local sports game, but be sure to get there early since it gets pretty packed and it's not a big place. Also, bring wipes to wipe down your own table because I didn't see anyone staff person doing that. The poor bartender was the only dude all night and the bar line was nonstop. He couldn't even find time to go to the bathroom because there would be a customer in there too (yes, we were watching him, haha!) They really should have two bartenders even though it's a small bar, it would reduce the stress and wait time for everyone. The Hidden Spot is fire! Their burgers looked delicious as they were served at other tables, but I got their pesto chicken sandwich with all the veggies and it was probably one of the best I've had. There were even customers who just came in for the food-to-go (I never saw that before when it was the Filipino pop-up). They got a variety of things. Wings and tots, both regular or drizzled with sauce. Def would come back for a game or even just to order a sandwich to take home.
